Pearl Belle Forrer Faber Rastorfer
Pearl Belle (Forrer) Faber Rastorfer was born September 15th, 1888 in Smithville, Ohio to George Martin and Amanda May (Webb) Forrer.  Pearl’s Great-Grandfather Moses Webb settled two miles south of Orrville, Ohio area near Pearl’s birth place in 1824 after receiving 80 acres in a Federal Land Grant for his Service in the War of 1812. 
March 27, 1908 Pearl Belle Forrer was married to Roy Ernest Faber.  The pair had six children, Mary Filena (1909 – 1978), Winora Belle (1911 – 1990), Roy Ernest Jr. (1914 – 2010), Doris Mae (passed away at childhood 1916-1917), JoAnne Harriet (1924 – 2005) and Richard Laverne (1926 – 1991).
  On October 15, 1929, Pearl’s husband, Roy Ernest Faber passed away unexpectedly following an appendectomy operation in Wheeling, West Virginia.  Pearl would remain a widow until 1937 when she married Adolf Rastorfer.  Adolf emigrated from Switzerland in April of 1909, and we first see Adolf in Rittman, Ohio working as a farm hand on 1910 census.  As a result of the marriage Pearl would become the step mother to two step-sons, Fred and Arthur, and two step-daughters, Leah and Anne.  At the time of her death Pearl had 5 children, four step-children, 24 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

December 19th, 1958 Pearl passed away at the age of 70, she was laid to rest in between her first and second husband in Rittman Cemetery, Rittman, Ohio.
