Frederick Fetterolf

Frederick Fetterolf was born in April 15, 1818 to Andrew and Catherine (Swartz) Fetterolf in Troxelville, Pennsylvania.  Frederick married Susan Carsteiter.  The pair had three children; Irvin, William, and Ellen.  According to the 1860 census Frederick was a Master Blacksmith, having several blacksmith apprentices living in his home.  Andrew Fetterolf was also a Blacksmith.

        At the age of 61 years Frederick Fetterolf passed away on April 27, 1879.  According to “Tombstone Inscriptions of Snyder County Compiled by

G. W. Wagenseller, L.L.D. 1904” Fredrick, along with a number of other Fetterolfs, is buried in Union Cemetery New Lutheran and Reformed Cemetery, Troxelville, Pennsylvania.
